The Vibe

My motto is “Que Sera Sera” or “Don’t sweat the petty stuff and don’t pet the sweaty stuff.”
I feel like either covers all grounds for how to embody wedding day (especially if you have a summer wedding).

I’m quirky, quick-witted, and down to earth.

I get super excited about a good sunset, a great sky, twinkle lights, good lighting, good aesthetics, good people, unique décor, awesome views, color schemes – I am a sucker for the good vibes.  

I think though, the majority of those who hire me are in it for the candid captures.

I am very aware of my surroundings (thank you situational awareness) and would have to agree that my “claim to fame” is certainly my ability to capture the unplanned.

I don’t believe you’d be disappointed in your wedding portraits if you hired me.

I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2011 and a creative since birth. In terms of the ability to execute a well-rounded gallery of portraits, I have no doubt I can deliver that to you.

Anything you want to capture on wedding day (well, legally), I will be down for.

Any way you’d like to lay out the day with portraits, I will accommodate to.

Any help you need in the wedding planning process, I am happy to be of service to.

Pricing/Info

  • Wedding collections begin at $3250. Reach out to me via my contact page & I’ll get back to you ASAP with a full list of my pricing. (Promise it’s quick & painless!)

  • I do my best to ensure that your day does not feel like one long photoshoot. I’m observant during the candid moments, and provide helpful tips to navigate posing during the more structured parts of the day. I bring two cameras with me to every wedding, an arsenal of lenses, and lighting equipment for all conditions. Before the big day, we will set up a time to go over a timeline for pictures that seamlessly blends into your day and is always a mutually determined layout. The majority of my weddings I fly solo so that your day feels more like a vibe and less like a production, but I do provide you with the option to add a second photographer to join me for the day, if that’s more your style!

  • I’m in Durant, Iowa. But I’ll travel wherever you need me to!

  • Fully edited digital files and printable downloading to both high-resolution and web-size images.

  • A contract and link to pay will be sent to your email on file, you’ll be asked to sign and send back the contract and your invoice will be sent in a separate link for you to pay the fee to retain your wedding (a portion of your full balance) with me!
